5/25 -- VERY GOOD

No change -- same report as last week.

5/18 -- VERY GOOD

"The upper river is predominantly baetis on top with scuds and sowbugs down under. The lower river is also strong with baetis now, too, its also full of PMD nymphs with some Yellow Sallie nymphs starting to show up. Algae is becoming an issue, but the excellent fishing makes up for it. "

5/10 -- FAIR

"still some midge fishing but the baetis are coming on strong. The upper river is predominantly baetis on top with scuds and sowbugs down under. The lower river is full of PMD nymphs with some Yellow Sallie nymphs starting to show up."

5/4 -- GOOD

"The low and clear water and plentiful Blue Winged Olives have made for some great days fishing the surface." (as of 5/1)

4/27 -- GOOD

No new reports, thus downgrade.

4/20 -- VERY GOOD

"The flushing flows worked like magic, and dry fly fishing is as good as it gets right now. Midges and more recently baetis hatches have produced some epic days on the river."

"Midge and baetis hatches are coming off with regularity. Midges are clustering the late afternoon, and it is a sight to behold!" Flushing flow occurred April 9, and was complete by April 12.

"The baetis have finally shown up, but its the heavy midge hatches that are getting all the attention. A brief flushing flow of 7,000cfs is tentatively scheduled for April 9."

"we are starting to see the water temps up a bit to get our Blue Winged Olives coming off. With the lack of clouds the dry fly fishing has been limited to mornings and evenings but the nymphing mid-day has been excellent."

"Stripping streamers has been the most productive with nymph fishing and dries coming in second and third." 3120 CFS (vs 2610 avg).
