5/25 -- FAIR

"The river is really low. Fishing has improved. Best action is in the mornings, then late afternoon. Insect hatches a still on the lite side, but PMDs are starting to come off above Island Road around 11:00 AM. As the weeds start to fill in, the fishing will get better and better. Expect to fish olive leeches and damsels on sinking lines for best results."

5/18 -- FAIR

"Sunny warm weather and strictly classic fly fishing. The fishing is improving."

5/11 -- POOR

"Take a rain-check for now. The fishing isn’t any good on Fall right now. By mid month it will be another story. No weeds and no insect hatches. Without the two, the fish have moved to more fertile waters. I saw this happen back in 2005, and the river fished slow through most of May, and then the fishing got crazy good through June."

5/4 -- GOOD

"If it's not windy, the fishing is going to be good! Best water conditions can be found up river, above Island Drive. The PMD's are the main hatch."

4/27 -- GOOD

Opening day Saturday. "Early scouting on the Fall River has been very promising. The flow is steady and the river is clear with perfect conditions. The bugs have been out and the trophy Rainbows are on them."

River closed 11/15 -- will open 4/28. No reports until then.

11/11 -- FAIR

"This is possibly the last report for Fall River this year! The fishing has been fair to good." BWO's when wet/snowy.

Baetis, caddis, PMD's induced by cooler weather. Impending storms could help: "Typically, cold temperatures produce steady insect hatches all day." River closes 11/15 -- time is running out.

No new reports, thus downgrade. Weather remains sunny and mild.

10/25 -- GOOD

"Mainly nymphing", but dries "all day long" when sunny -- which has been and will continue to be virtually every day in the foreseeable future. BWO's, PT's, PMD's, wooly buggers. "...good all day, everyday" (as of 10/21).
