12/23 -- GOOD

No new reports, thus one notch downgrade. Between 1400 and 2600 CFS (vs 1700 avg).

12/16 -- VERY GOOD

"Fishing continues to be very good...Midges are hatching offering some dry fly fishing. The brown trout are spawning and the fish are very active making streamer fishing and nymph fishing very good." Flows between 950 and 1300 CFS.

12/9 -- GOOD

BWO's and midges are hatching. Try streamers, nymphs, dries and dry-dropper combos. Flows gyrating daily between 950 and 1900 (vs 2000 avg).

12/2 -- GOOD

"Streamers are still effective, but not as good as they were several weeks back." Nymphs faring better than dries. Eggs, scuds, BWO's, midges. "A few fish are on the reds, but not in full force yet." Flows gyrating between 900 and 2200 CFS (vs 1800 avg), but apparently not harming fishing.

11/18 -- GOOD

Nymphs (eggs, scuds, BWO's, midges) > dries in A section. B section: dries "great -- Caddis, parachute adams, terrestrials. Streamers in C section. Browns spawning. Flow chart not working properly -- has been jumping between 900 and 2200 CFS (vs 1900 avg), but looks to have steadied at 1900.

11/11 -- GOOD

"The dry fly fishing is still good with small dries" (primarily terrestrials). Small olives on snowy days. "The browns are in pre-spawn colors and are aggressive towards streamers." 1600 CFS (which is avg). Cold at night (teens and twenties), with snow expected saturday.

BWO's, mdiges, a few october caddis. Small mayfly nymphs. River closes 11/15.

Streamers. Some dry mdiges and BWO's. Microscuds(!), small mayfly nymphs. Spawn should occur in 2-3 weeks, improving streamer and nymph fishing. 1480 to 2800 CFS (vs 1650 avg).
