Steady eddy 9000 CFS for over a week. High, thus nymphing > dries. "I have found lots of worms in the stomachs I've pumped" (Green River Flyfisher, below). Glowbugs, scud, san juan worms, midges.

Cicadas building. "..this past week, the canyon wall echoed with the sound of Cicadas" (Western Rivers Flyfisher). But nymphing still better (probably not for long). High and steady at 9000 CFS.

Steady at 9000 CFS. PMD's, caddis, some cicadas, streamers. Dries near banks and back eddies. More fishing pressure now.

High but clear and steady at 9000 CFS since Saturday. Nymphs > dries. Terrestrials with warmer weather. Few cicadas.

High at 8600 (use a big boat), but clear and no adverse effects on fishing. Best in A section (nymphing with attractor eggs/worms) and C section (streamers/terrestrials). May be running out of time for a good cicada hatch.

Flows 4600. Nymphing (glowbugs, scuds and worms) better than drying Some midges, BWO's. Streamers on cloudy days. Cicadas not here yet: "Cicada count: 5" per Green River Fly Fisher (link below).

Flows at 4600 CFS to remain stable for 7-10 days, should preserve fishing conditions. Nymphing better than dries; streamers good. Red creek muddy. Nicer weather could mean cicadas soon., hopefully before flows go back up.
