"Make the Klamath River part of your fishing plans next month. Salmon flies are about to emerge from the waters of of this N. California river. It is just a tad early for any great reports for now, but by the end of this month, we should have reports of rainbows eating salmon flies."

No new reports. Flows jumped from 1800 to 3500 CFS at Iron Gate Thursday (vs. 2400 avg).
"The river continued to be in clear, fishable condition for the first several miles below Iron Gate dam, and a small number of fresh steelhead continued to enter the upper reaches to join the native rainbows."

Good rain at last! "The fishing has been good! The rainy, snowy conditions this week will warm the water a little and force more steelhead to move up into the Irongate section of the Klamath." Flows jumped from 1000 CFS Wednesday to a peak of 1750 Thursday and were receding as of 10:00 p.m. Thursday.
