6/21 -- GOOD
Flows ~normal (627 CFS west, 50 degrees; 194 east, 54 degrees). Warm weather pushing hatches into late evening (more so on east). Thus, nymph mid-day until T-storms cool the water. Good activity: sulfurs, isonychias, olives, caddis.

6/3 -- GOOD
Rivers still clear and receding (1460 CFS west, 498 CFS east), wadeable, but better for floating. Cool front moved through. Increasing insect activity. Green drakes, sulfurs, caddis, march browns. West branch better with water temps dropping to 55 due to more bottom release.

5/24 -- FAIR
High, clear and unwadeable (though receding) -- so float it. Focus on rising fish in slow water, or use streamers and nymphs (march browns and stones) near the banks or structure. Look for march browns, caddis, BWO's, sulfurs, hendrikson spinners and a few green drakes to tease you (though the real numbers are a few weeks away). 8960 CFS west branch; 2090 east branch.

5/20 -- FAIR
Floating only, except some wading on east branch. Wet weather (heavy rain Wednesday) has been screwing up water a little. Some sulphurs, march browns, other mayflies and caddis. Al Caucci says best bet is Hendricksons on West Branch.

5/17 -- FAIR
Weather dampened fishing yesterday, but water has been dropping and there is some good insect activity that could improve fishing soon, including Blue Quills, Hendricksons, March Browns in lower river, some caddis and others, though not a lot of rising fish. East and West Branch wadeable. Rain forecasted.
