"Flows are continuous at 20,000-25,000 cfs as the COE is evacuating the lake." "Big water...is going to be the normal flow till about the middle of April... Caddis continue to emerge and hatch... Fishing seems to be confined to the upper end of the river due to some mossy algae."

"with the warmer weather we have been having the caddis started coming off the water in the afternoon. Trans Caddis will continue to work as the Caddis hatch heats up and moves upstream."

"The shad came through again this past Monday. After the water dropped down we tied on caddis emergers and began to catch fish again. Caddis are already moving upstream from the confluence of the Norfork and the White." Flows between 4000 and 7000 CFS.

"Hearing some good shad kill reports from Bull Shoals tailwater, but I don't think we'll see a prolonged or heavy shad kill this year." Flows between 5000 and 9000 CFS (vs 16,000 avg).

"We've seen good streamer fishing water the past couple of weeks with the higher flows." Flows generally between 14,000 and 20,000 CFS in the past few days (vs. avg 4500).

Catch and release below Bull Shoals Dam re-opened on 2/1. "The brown trout bite was heavy with many nice fish caught." Flows fluctuating between 11,000 and 17,000 CFS (vs 9000 avg).

"The best technique for [high flows] is to fish brightly colored San Juan worms... and egg patterns... The trick is to get the flies down." "Brown trout will be scattering back downriver to their territorial homes soon." Flows jumped from 10,000 CFS Wednesday up to 40,000 Thursday (vs. 5000 avg).
