"The Yellow Breeches continues to provide great fishing in mid September for those anglers that have not put away their fishing equipment and have the opportunity to fish the outstanding Trico hatch. Trico fishing is technical fishing!"
"Dry fly fishing is excellent now. Tricos not so early wth cooler weather. Look for them by 8-9 o'clock. Later in the morning small caddis flies, terrestrials, and assorted blue quill/bwo flies should raise a few trout. Watch for flying ant falls."
"Weather is still pretty warm so get on the Breeches early. On Tuesday afternoon I took a water temmperature reading of 67-68 degrees on the Allenberry stretch of the C&R area. That is too warm for good fishing. Fishing was quite good earlier and picks up around dusk."
"Overall, dry fly fishing is quite good now with a variety of hatches and terrestrial fishing throughout the day."
"The Hexagenia hatch is early! The Hexagenia appear about a week to ten days prior to the White Fly and are present about a week to ten days beyond the White Fly."

Same report as last week.

As of 5/13: "water was cool, say high 50's with midges and some caddis hatching. We fished over just some spotty rising trout. We had a few takes on nymphs and dry/droppers but only had two landed trout."
