Hoppers during heat. AP's, birds nests, hares ears. Wadeable. 780 CFS (vs 570 avg), up from 670 monday.

675 CFS for 6 days (vs 600 avg). No new reports. Kiene's discussion had indicated sparse insect activity; diver saw 100 steelhead/rainbows below daguerre dam.
Flows good, but hatches spotty. Nymphs (stones, caddis) > dries (hoppers). Egg hatch will help. Up to 680 CFS (from 600 tuesday) (vs 580 avg). See Kiene's thread.

600 - 700 CFS for 4 days (vs 600 avg). No new reports (strange, since it should be good now with lower flows). Above 20 bridge has been closed since 8/31.
Caddis below 20 bridge. After relatively steady 480 - 500 CFS for 5 days, sudden spike to 600 (vs. 900 avg). Very wadeable now.

Down to 700 CFS (vs. 1100 avg), from 2100 a week ago. No new reports, but should pick up soon with lower flows.
Dropping fast. Now below average at 1000 CFS (vs. 1100 avg) from 2500 a week ago. Should stabilize at 800 CFS on 9/1. Fishing should pick up after fish adjust to new flow regime. Baetis, stones, PMD's, large attactors, hoppers.

Fish the edges, seams. Dries: baetis, stones, PMD's, attractors, hoppers. Flows on the way down. 2200 CFS (vs. 1400 avg), from 2700 tuesday. Will drop 200 CFS a day until 9/1, stabilizing at 800. Kiene's discussion.
